I’ll occasionally share nourishing tips, tricks, recipes and stories.

My journey

Full disclosure, my life didn’t always feel nourished & balanced -- in fact it felt quite the opposite.

Health and wellness has always been my passion, but for most of my life it was an unhealthy obsession.

My first vivid memory was when I was 8 years old – that’s when I saw my first nutritionist. That was just the beginning — for many years following I saw dozens of nutritionists and tried many other fad diets but nothing stuck except one thing. That lingering feeling of not being enough and not being comfortable in my own body.

My relationship with food and negative body image impacted me in ways I didn’t know was possible. After I spent years being told what to eat by other people, I went from looking at food as comfort to food being the enemy. I started obsessively counting every single calorie, tracking my food intake and ultimately losing over 50lbs.

While the physical weight was gone, I most certainly didn’t feel like my best self on the inside.

My battle with food started to take over my life, and I lost myself in the process. I lost my ability to relax and enjoy the moment with friends and family. I lost parts of my personality that made me ME. My world became so narrow — food and my body controlled my entire existence.

The number on the scale took over my life for too many years.

After years of yo-yo dieting, I kept falling back into negative lifestyle choices and failed to strike a balance in my life. Eating or drinking “off plan” would come with guilt, and shame and days of excessive exercise & limited eating to make up for it.

The more I tried to control my food, the more it controlled me.

Plus, I was running around at a million miles per hour to avoid sitting with myself.

My wake up call was when I started getting panic attacks. The shortness of breath, the tightening of my chest, the racing heart beat would hit me out of nowhere and it felt like the world was crumbling down.

That moment, I knew something had to fundamentally change. After over a decade of yo-yo dieting, anxiety & negative body image – I realized I had to take back control of my health, my life, and my happiness.

I had some pretty big realizations:

Throughout my journey, I realized how out of balance my life was and how I was so laser on focused food and body image that everything else came second to that.

This sparked a thought within me, If I was feeling like this, how many other people out there are struggling with the same thing?

I was determined to heal myself naturally so I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to get my Holistic Health Coach Certification. I read every book I could get my hands on. I attended every workshop/seminar and I became in love with healing myself.

I slowly started to reframe my mindset and focus on healing from the inside out. I started to prioritize my mental health, kicking off each day with a morning meditation, I started to eat and live intuitively and become connected with my body, in-tune with my headspace, and move mindfully. I’ve found ways to truly appreciate the moment and embrace my wellness unrestrained.

It wasn’t easy, but I learned to fall in love with myself and my body. This has allowed me to feed my mind, my body and my spirit the best, most nourishing things to live a Wildly Well life.

Am I perfect 100% of the time? HECK NO but that’s what makes life more enjoyable — being balanced and not having the anxiety, shame and guilt lingering.

Are you ready to RUN WILD? Unrestrained from dieting, free from body negativity, and live life in the present?

Wildly Well

Difference

Wellbeing

We often overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment. It’s not just the food we eat that impacts our health, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, physical activity, and spirituality are essential forms of nourishment. When these primary aspects of your life are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.

Intuitive Eating

Say goodbye to the dirty D word. No rules, no counting calories, no guilt, no shame.
You’ll learn how to feed your body without relying on a one size fits all approach diet. You’ll make peace with food and make positive changes that are based on your unique needs and lifestyle preferences. You’ll start to eat with ease and nurture your natural body. Food won’t control your life anymore.

Love Yourself

We’ll honor your body and mind – no more second-guessing, fearing & over thinking who you are. Through mindfulness and gratitude practices, we’ll begin to quiet the negative thoughts & limiting beliefs so you can be confident and love the heck out of yourself.

Discovery

No more days of just going through the motions. It’s time to pursue your highest potential and unlock your authentic self. We’ll work together to understand what truly makes you thrive to discover a sense of purpose every single day. Together, we’ll dive into a life with deeper meaning that embraces fulfillment, enjoyment and self-growth.

“When we deny the story, it defines us. When we own the story, we can write a brave new ending.”

Let's be anti-diet friends!

Can I tell you a little secret?

It’s your time to RUN WILD

I used to be that person who stressed over food and her body. The one who obsessed over every single food choice. The one who couldn’t take a compliment. The one who hated her body no matter what she did.

If you know this story all too well, then we’ve got a lot in common. Because I was that girl.

It took some time, but eventually I worked hard to break free from the destructive diet cycle and create the life that I actually wanted and deserved.

Which means that these days I live a balanced life of food freedom, body appreciation and mindfulness. And I’ll tell you something, babe — I am never going back!

And those secret, daydreaming, soul-stirring visions you have for yourself? You know, the ones you’re almost too scared to admit how badly you want them? They’re all possible, and they all start with self-love & mindfulness.

Which means…they all start with YOU.

Run wild from diet culture and body negativity. Embrace the discomfort, take the leap into your limitless life.

You owe it to yourself!
